This full day excursion starts from Fumba a famous local fishermen village situated on the south west part of Stone Town the most convenient location for exploring the natural beauty of the isolated sandbanks and rugged island scenery of the Menai Bay Conservation Area an ecosystem protected marine conservation area which covers 470 square kilometres (180 sqm) being developed with participation of the local communities.
We use a wooden traditional Dhow made in Zanzibar equipped with a motor-boat and wind including all safety gears and well trained crew then ride to snorkeling sites where many aquatic species are found , like Moral eels, Scorpion fish, Lion fish, large Groupers, Octopuses, Lobsters, Rays Manta rays as well as Dolphins but only two species Indo-Pacific Humpback and the Bottlenose. The area`s underwater cliff, wrecks, canyons, caves and spectacular reefs offer the very special site for diving and snorkeling activities.
