ACTIVITIES
Game Drives at Linyanti Ebony Tented Camp
Twice daily game drives in open 4x4 vehicles offered. Morning and Evening game drives. Linyanti is best known for its large populations of elephant and buffalo that congregate in vast numbers especially during the dry season.
Walking at Linyanti Ebony Tented Camp
Guided walks are lead by qualified and passionate guides who will share their knowledge and love of the bush with you. Walking tours are a great way to get within a safe near distance to the animals. During the dry season, one is able to see further due to the thinning vegetation.
Bird Watching at Linyanti Ebony Tented Camp
The area offers spectacular birding throughout the year. With it's mixed habitats comes a good variety of bird species. Linyanti birding is one of the biggest attractions on an Okavango safari.
Night Drives at Linyanti Ebony Camp
Most of our afternoon game drives continue into the night if all guests on the vehicle wish to continue their safari experience. This is a great way to experience nocturnal wildlife typically not seen during daylight hours.
Boating at Linyanti Ebony Tented Camp
The Linyanti Marsh starts to fill up again in April as the floods from the catchment areas make their way towards Botswana. Boating trips will depend on the arrival of the floods and so may not be possible in the dry season.
Fishing at Linyanti Ebony Tented Camp
Fishing depends on the arrival of the floods, which usually make their way towards Botswana in April.
Mokoro Safaris at Linyanti Ebony Tented Camp
Mokoro is a type of canoe commonly used in the area. Due to the conservation of trees in the area, we model ours out of fiberglass. It is propelled through shallow waters while you experience wildlife from an unusual point of view.
